What? Softball is broken into age divisions; 7-9 year old coach pitch, 10-11 year old kid pitch and 12-15 year old kid pitch. Our 12 year-olds are moving into the older group so all of our middle school age players will play with the same rules they will play by on their spring school teams.
When? August 7, 2022 is the cut off for participation. You must be paid in full and have your registration complete by August 7, 2022!
Player evaluation day will August 27th.
Evaluation Day Schedule - Saturday, August 27th
2:00 - 3:45 - Ages 7-9 on field 1
2:00 - 3:45 - Ages 10-11 on field 6
2:00 - 3:45 - Ages 12-15 on field 8
Practices will begin the week of August 29th. Practices will be Mondays and Thursdays based on the number of teams. Younger teams will practice from 6:00-7:00 on Mondays or Thursdays and Saturday mornings until games start. Older teams will practice from 7:00-8:00 on Mondays or Thursdays and Saturday mornings until games start. Games begin September 17th and conclude the week of November 14th.
Who? Girls ages 7-15. Your child must be seven by August 21, 2022 and cannot turn 16 before August 21, 2022.
How much? The cost is $75.00 for coach pitch and $85.00 for kid pitch. That covers the uniform - jersey, shorts, socks and end of season party and trophies.
How do I get in on this? Registration can be completed by going to the website below and clicking on the HBC Recreation logo. If you are new to Hopewell recreation you will need to create a new account. If you are returning to Hopewell Recreation you can use the same account you logged on with in previous seasons. For families that already have an account set-up please verify that the address and other information on your account is current. Registration will begin July 10, 2022 and close August 7, 2022.
You must be paid in full and registration complete by August 7, 2022 in order to participate in the league.
