What? Flag Football and cheerleading are broken into age divisions; 5-6, 7-9, 10-12 and 13-15.

When? August 7, 2022 is the cut off for participation. You must be paid in full and have your registration complete by August 7, 2022.

Player evaluation day will be Saturday, August 27th.

Evaluation Day Schedule - Saturday, August 27th - All on the Football Field.

10:15 - 11:15 - Ages 5-6
11:30 - 12:30 - Ages 7-9
12:45 - 1:45 - Ages 10-12
2:00 - 3:45 - Ages 13-15 

Practices will begin the week of August 29th. 5-6 and 7-9 age groups practice on Monday nights from 6:00-7:00 and Saturday mornings until games start. 10-12 and 13-15 age groups practice on Monday nights from 7:00-8:00 and Saturday mornings until games start. Games begin September 17th and conclude the week of November 14th.

Who? Boys and Girls ages 5-15 are eligible to play flag football. We will also have cheerleading for the same age groups for girls if they would prefer to cheer instead of playing football.  Your child must be five by August 21, 2022 and cannot turn 16 before August 21, 2022.

How much? The cost for football is $70.00 and that covers the jersey and end of season party and trophies.  The cost of cheerleading is $70.00 and that covers the uniform – shirt and shorts - and trophy.

How do I get in on this? Registration can be completed by going to this website www.whatasavior.com and clicking on Recreation Ministry. If you are new to Hopewell Recreation you will need to create a new account. If you are returning to Hopewell Recreation you can use the same account you logged on with in previous seasons. For families that already have an account set-up please verify that the address and other information on your account is current. Registration will begin July 10, 2022 and close August 7th, 2022.
